Dzogchen Training with Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche

Since November 2015 a dzogchen practice training takes place in Germany under the guidance of Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche . The group receives the teachings of the Dru Gyalwai Chaktri from the "Zhangzhung Nyengyud" Dru Gyalwa Yungdrung and practices together with Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche. The cycle begins with the Ngöndro teachings and is taught step by step through to the end. The group meets 3 times 4 days per year and has now completed the teachings for the Ngöndro practice, and begins with the first Dzogchen exercises, and is thus closed. Following the success - a second group will be opened in October 2017 which will also receive the practical instructions of the main Dzogchen cycle of Yungdrung Bon "Zhangzhung Nyengyud". This second group will be held parallel to the first group, it is led by one of the Geshe from the monastery Triten Norbutse, and is under the supervision of Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche, who is the abbot of the monastery Triten Norbutse in Kathmandu. Some parts of the practice will be performed together by both groups. Most will however take place in separate rooms.
The daily routine is similar to the Gomdra in the international Yungdrung Bön center in Shenten Dargye Ling and include 4 meditation sessions and 4 practice units. This Dzogchen group is for beginners as well as for experienced practitioners and welcomes anyone who wishes to participate in such training over a long period. The group is aimed at people from Germany and other countries that can not participate in the Gomdra in Shenten due to professional, family or other reasons, but who wish to deepen their practical experiences and gain an insight under the guidance of a qualified master. Beginners must start with the first seminar, experienced practitioners might join at a later date after consulting with Khenpo Tenpa Rinpoche .

Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche writes:"The group will meet three times a year and each time will have four days strict retreat dedicating to practice starting from Ngondro practice step by step. The practice and teaching will be focused on Dru Gyalwai Chaktri, the Manual Teaching on Zhangzhung Nyengyud by Dru Gyalwa Yungdrung.
Any one new or old practitioner, motivated to continue to attend the series teachings and practices until completion of the cycle, from Germany and other countries is welcome to the group. The schedule of the retreat will be similar to that of Gomdra at Shenten including four meditation sessions and four generosity practices."

The Seminar is English with German translation.

Dzogchen-Praxis-Retreat with Khenpo Tenpa Yungdrung Rinpoche

10th to 13th of May, 2018
Self-Instructions on the Five Bodies
(sKu lnga rang-khrid)

From the 10th to 13th of May, 2018, KHENPO TENPA YUNGDRUNG RINPOCHE will be teaching the practice of SELF-INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FIVE BODIES (sKu Inga rang-khrid) from the ZHANG ZHUNG NYEN GYUD cycle at the Yogahof in Höfen in germany. This practice, which has so far been rarely taught, is the second internal RUSHEN exercise in this cycle in addition to the PRACTICE OF THE PURIFICATION OF THE SIX LOKAS. Basically, RUSHEN exercises are special preliminary exercises in DZOGCHEN. Their specifc task is to give practitioners a clear distinction between samsara and nirvana and thus between the ordinary conceptual mind (or thought process) on the one hand and the trans-conceptual nature of the mind on the other. As a RUSHEN practice, the practice of SELF-INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FIVE BODIES (sKu Inga rangkhrid) is a very powerful purifcation practice with that particular purpose, which includes in particular visualizations of the deities of the fve buddha families (rigs lnga) and their respective consorts.
KHENPO TENPA YUNGDRUNG RINPOCHE will gradually introduce us to this valuable tradition in this
retreat. Through regular meditation sessions, we will put the teachings directly into practice.
