Bönpo cultural Centre in Ladakh

The Bön cultural centre in Choglamsar, Leh, Ladakh was founded in 1994 to provide Tibetans in this region with a centre for the preservation and cultivation of the Bön tradition.

The Bön community meets in three of these rooms to enjoy cultural and social exchange. Children receive remedial teaching.

We ask for donations to start a library, the construction of a larger communal room and a kitchen.

To support jobless youth a training facility for traditional arts and crafts (tailor, metal worker, wood carving, thanka painting) is planned.
